Getting Started with Appcues - Common questions
Table of Contents
How does the Appcues free trial work?
Every new Appcues account comes with a free, unlimited trial for 14 days when you start. After you have installed the Appcues SDK, we will give you another 14 days to experience what we offer. This method allows everyone to show as many flows as they would like—both before and after installation—to really make sure Appcues is the perfect fit for you!
Will Appcues work with my tech stack?
Appcues is added via an SDK and works with most frameworks. Learn more about which web and mobile application frameworks Appcues supports as well as other technologies and features. Additionally, Appcues offers a Public API, webhooks and integrates with common tools for data in and out.
Will Appcues affect app performance or require PII?
The SDK is lightweight and designed to minimize performance impact. Our SDK is delivered by a content delivery network (CDN) called Fastly, the same one used by Github and Twitter, to ensure rapid loading times. Appcues does not require any PII for a successful implementation. For more details about security, performance, and data read our FAQ for developers.
How long does implementation typically take?
Most teams add the SDK snippet, identify users, and start building in days, not weeks. A basic web and mobile install is a short lift for a developer, with optional event tracking and integrations layered in as you go.
Which integrations are available and how do I connect them?
Appcues supports a broad set of integrations to bring data in and send events out. You can connect from Studio to sync properties for targeting, enrich analytics, and push Appcues events to your other tools.
