Launchpad Analytics Page

In your Launchpad's analytics page, you can see your key Launchpad events over time, by date, in your local time zone. This will give you better insights into the performance, engagement and success of your Launchpad so that you can drive further success into your product with Appcues.

Here, you have the ability to export your CSVs. Additionally, you have the ability to change the time frame in which you're viewing the page. This allows you to view your data for a specific time frame, and applies to everything on the page. 

Scoreboard

The Scoreboard allows you to see a data summary of the key metrics we track; Total Open, Unique Users and Average Events Per Open.

• Total Opens (total times the Launchpad icon was opened);
• Unique Users (unique users opening the Launchpad icon);
• Average Events Per Open (calculated by dividing Launchpad Opens by the Total Events. Total events are: links opened, launched flows, searches, articles opened)

The Chart

The Chart gives you the ability to see how your Launchpads perform over time to help you determine your Launchpad's performance. You can hover over particular data points to see all the stats related to the viewing or clicks of your Launchpad. It's important to note this data is charted by daily unique users.

• Links Open: A link added as a link block is opened
• Launched Flows: A Flow added as a Flow block is triggered 
• Knowledge base articles opened: A knowledge base article is opened from the Launchpad
• Searches: a search on the knowledge base is done on the Launchpad

From the Launchpad's analytics page, you can export a CSV. You can adjust the desired date range for the data exported.

The generated CSV will look like the screenshot below. The name column will detail the Launchpad event (you can find below definitions for these events).

Launchpad Events

After publishing your experience, you can build reports outside of Appcues using our CSV exports or an integration. Here is a summary of the event names you may find when you export your CSV. Certain Launchpad events can also be exported via our Public API.
